Hey kayda!
Are there any special markings? Stars for example.
Also, the serial number can often make a difference in a notes value - some contain birthdays, specific strings or great poker hands.
The seals in the 50's and 60's may have been in color... what color are your serial numbers?
What color is the seal?
Later,
Bill : )

From my experience, a typical (which your seems to be) 1953 two dollar bill is worth from $4 to $7 each.
There isn't a lot of extra value in most twos... like any antique you find, they gain more and more value the older they get... so any early 1900's bills will hold more value than a '53.
One thing is for sure about collecting currency though - it will NEVER be worth less than you originally "paid" for it - if you got it at the bank or in a normal transaction!
Can't say that for all those Beanie Baby collectors out there...

I'm just wondering if star notes are worth keeping, since I got one in the strap that I bought today. It's from an uncirculated, 2003 A series.

I have a 2 dollar bill with a .13 postage stamp and postal mark on it. The postal mark is from Rohnert Park, California on April 13th 1976. The serial number is L20267746A, and the number on the sides of the bill is 12. Is this worth anything??

I have a 1976 $2 bill that has a stamp cancelled on the first day of issue at Thomas Jefferson's home in Monticello, Virginia. It is supposedly 1 of only 150 of said kind. The stamp is an eagle with a shield and it reads "One nation indivisible * E Pluriibus Unum" up the left side and across the top. Any ideas?

I have a 1976 Limited edition Bunny Buck that Wal mart gave to some customers as gifts. What is this worth? It has a Bunny on the front instead of a president.

I have a 1953 2$ bill with red lettering boston printed- and it's offset from the mint (the paper is off-set to the left rather than centered (majorly so that it is cut to the edge of the lines where it was inked.... i'm holding onto it because errors are valued by collectors - and someday in another 30 years when my child grows up i hope to pass it onto her

I'm going to go spend some of the 2$ bills that I got at the bank today - the teller let me know that she orders them regular for a local townie- who gets them in bulk.... so either he's hoarding them or he's spending them....

If it is real currency, they are worth whatever the denomination of the bill is. I'm just wondering if star notes are worth keeping, since I got one in the strap that I bought today. It's from an uncirculated, 2003 A series.
Yes. It is from a short run, and its value (as uncirculated) may increase in the future.

Sorry to quote myself but does anyone know of any currency exchange site that might have something similar to mine? I don't have any plans to part with it, but would really like to know its value (if any).
